Client Testimonials
I hired Fairview Landworks for tree and debris removal after Hurricane Helene. They were very efficient and moved an enormous amount of debris in one day. They left the area looking great, and the final cost was very reasonable. I will definitely use them again, and highly recommend to anyone needing cleanup. -Kevin TBrad was great. His Forestry Mulching was done in one day and cleared our woods which was previously a “jungle”. His price was the lowest of all area services and his work is terrific. Would not hesitate to use him again. -Dale CThese guys were great. I needed some grading done at my house and my shop. They listened to what I wanted and went above and beyond. I will use them again. -John HPROMPT - PERSONABLE- PROFESSONAL!
We reached out to Brad regarding cleaning up an large area of overgrowth on our property. He promptly replied to our inquiry and came out within a few days to complete an assessment of the work and provided us with a written estimate. Brad did an amazing job with the cleanup and we will be using him again in the future. -Christie BBrad was excellent to work with. Very punctual, always easy to contact, and did an amazing job on our property! After Helene, our creek side was destroyed, tons of rock and debris covering our yard making it impossible to traverse or enjoy. Brad came in and shared our vision and the outcome is better than I even expected! It was tricky to access with dirt and topsoil but they found a way and executed their plan to perfection! I wish I could give more stars but I’m limited to 5! I will definitely be using Fairview Landworks again soon! -Michael SBrad was easy to work with. In one day he transformed a big section of our property with forest mulching! -David WBrad and Dustin were great to work with and did a really nice job clearing a huge amount of brush and downed trees on my property. I recommend them highly! -Popsie LBrad & Dustin did a terrific job cleaning up and disposing of Helene damage and logging debris. They were careful to communicate what they were doing, when, and where, and checked in to make sure I was satisfied with their work. Highly recommended! -Paddy LI had Brad come out to clear some wooded area of our yard. Price was very reasonable compared to other places I got quotes from. Brad was easy to communicate with, friendly, and always arrived when he said he would. Brad set realistic expectations about what could be accomplished, and then over delivered! I’d recommend him to anyone getting land cleared. -Dave HWe hired Fairview Landworks to clear and mulch a 2 acre field and remove invasive privet and rose along the forest edge and along an old utility easement. Communicating with Brad was easy and he worked hard to meet our goals. We had a clear idea of the cost and how long he would stay on-site for the 2-day job. -Jan BBrad worked in my backyard and mulched a good portion of it. It looks beautiful and had really expanded the usability of my yard and I’m beyond happy. -Bryan GFairview Landworks came through for us by providing intelligent and effective remediation for a driveway impacted by Hurricane Helene. Brad and Dustin devised a solution after three other companies told us there was nothing they could do to address the situation. Brad and Dustin were amazingly friendly, they communicated clearly, and demonstrated integrity in every aspect of the project from beginning to end. We are very grateful and wholeheartedly recommend Fairview Landworks. -Katia WFirst Responder Owned and Operated
Our Services

At Fairview Landworks, we help Western North Carolina landowners reduce wildfire risk, improve forest health, and protect the long-term value of their property. Our wildfire mitigation services are designed specifically for mountain properties, large acreage tracts, private roads, HOAs, and homes located in the wildland-urban interface.
Using specialized forestry equipment and low-impact land management practices, we remove hazardous fuel loads, thin overgrown vegetation, create defensible space around structures, improve emergency access, and restore storm-damaged or neglected land. Every property is different, and we work closely with landowners to develop practical, long-term solutions that balance safety, aesthetics, and environmental stewardship.
We also assist landowners navigating the USDA’s Emergency Forest Restoration Program (EFRP), which provides financial assistance to restore private forestland damaged by natural disasters, including hurricanes, wind events, flooding, and wildfire-related impacts. As preferred contractors experienced in forestry restoration and mitigation work, we help clients understand eligible practices, prioritize the most effective use of available funding, and coordinate projects that align with USDA program requirements.
Many landowners are unsure where to start after storm damage or when managing high wildfire risk. We serve not only as contractors, but also as trusted advisors throughout the process — helping property owners make informed decisions that protect their land while maximizing the value of available cost-share opportunities.
Whether you need targeted fuel reduction, forestry mulching, access improvements, or large-scale restoration work, our team delivers professional, efficient solutions tailored to the unique terrain and challenges of Western North Carolina.

Forestry mulching is commonly used in land management, typically for clearing dense vegetation, such as trees, shrubs, and brush. We utilize a CAT 265 skid steer with a drum mulching head, both of which are top of the line. Our machine uses a rotating drum equipped with heavy-duty carbide teeth. As the mulcher moves through vegetation, it grinds trees, branches, and other foliage into small chips or mulch. This process clears the land and creates a layer of natural mulch that helps with soil erosion control. Forestry mulching can also be used for creating fire breaks, maintaining trails, clearing fence lines or preparing land for construction or agricultural purposes.
One major advantage of mulching is it eliminates the need to haul away debris, thus saving you time and money! This service is priced by the hour and the cost varies according to terrain, density, and type of vegetation needing mulched.

Our primary focus for land clearing is the process of preparing a plot of land for building by removing trees, shrubs, debris, and any other obstacles that may interfere with the construction. Whether you just need a plot of land bush hogged or large trees taken down and hauled off, we can help!

Grading with a skid steer involves using the machine's attachments to level, smooth, and shape the ground. A skid steer is versatile and compact, making it ideal for small to medium-sized grading tasks, especially in tight or confined spaces.
